For those of you who like to watch Korean dramas or hobbyist looking for unique food, bungeoppang certainly not foreign anymore. Yes, bungeoppang is a Korean traditional cakes, fish-shaped, with red bean stuffing. Although already widely found in Indonesia, but it would be more fun if you can make it yourself at home
Material:
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup and 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Red bean porridge for stuffing (can be homemade or canned)
How to make:
- Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar in a bowl. Add water and mix well.
- Strain the batter so that there are no lumps.
- Heat the pan on bungeoppang shaped fish with a small flame.
- Grease the bottom and cover part of the pan with oil.
- Pour the dough to 1/3, then add the red beans in the middle, then pour the dough again until the full order of red beans closed.
- Cover the mold and cook on one side with a low heat for 3 minutes.
- Behind the mold, and cook again on the other side for 3 minutes. And then back again, open mold, and cook for 30 seconds.
- Remove and serve.
